What can you access on My dashboard?

This tutorial explains what you can access on your My dashboard.

After registering and logging into Cloudpermit, you can enter the My dashboard view.

My dashboard is your homepage. The dashboard displays the essential information you need to achieve one or more service objectives. All relevant information is arranged on one screen so you can easily access your data.

The header has:
  • Access to the Support site.
  • A switch to change the language.
  • Entry to the Messages.
  • Entrance to the User Menu that contains My profile.

On the right, there is a button to create a new application.
There is a "Tasks and requests" section under My dashboard.
Usually, the local government authority imposes the requirements shown in this view.

A workspace is a key concept in Cloudpermit. It is a collaborative digital place for all parties involved in the permit, planning, and construction process.

All the information concerning each permit, planning, and construction process is added, updated, modified, uploaded, and stored within a workspace.

Every workspace is always part of a project.

A project can include one or many workspaces. For example, constructing a shopping mall may require the demolition of existing buildings and several new buildings. They all are handled in the same project through individual workspaces.

The "Workspaces" section has:
  • Search
  • Quick Search
  • Filtering of applications
  • Sorting of applications
  • Results of the search criteria

You can set search criteria under the "Search" function or filter and sort applications to make finding applications easier.

In the image beside, there are several workspaces under "Results" filtered by a user.

The selected workspace is a part of the project called "Inspections and Occupancy."

By clicking on "Open Workspace," a user navigates to the application workspace, containing sections with actions and detailed information to which the user must contribute.

The workspace card contains the following information:
  • The name of the project with the property address
  • The project's target and work
  • The applicant's name
  • The last update
  • The status of the application
  • The permit number.

Additonally:

  • You can enable and disable the email notifications regarding your application by clicking the envelope icon on the right of the card.
  • You can start messaging with the local government authority on your application by clicking the messaging icon beside the email icon.
  • You can enter the application workspace by clicking "Open Workspace".
