How to enter the Messaging Workspace

Cloudpermit allows users to send and receive messages in the application. The in-built Messaging workspace is accessible from the Cloudpermit Dashboard header, workspace card, and workspace header of applications. The Messaging workspace allows all involved stakeholders to communicate in the application. A user can send public messages to which all parties may contribute or direct messages to specific recipients in the application. The Cloudpermit users have three options to enter the application's Messaging workspace in Cloudpermit.

This tutorial will teach you how to enter the application's Messaging workspace in Cloudpermit. 

Option 1

  1. Enter the Messaging workspace from the Cloudpermit header.
  2. Click Messages in the Cloudpermit header.
  3. Select the application from the Messages view.
  4. The Messages workspace opens. The Public workspace is selected by default. Switch to the Direct message workspace by clicking Direct.
  5. Type the message into the text field and send it over by clicking the arrow.

Option 2

  1. Enter the Messaging workspace from the application's workspace card. 
  2. Find your application in the Results section of your Dashboard.
  3. Click the Messages icon (conversations) on the workspace card.
  4. The Messaging workspace opens. The Public workspace is selected by default.  
  5. Change to the Direct message workspace by clicking the Direct switch toggle.
  6. Type the message into the text field and send it over by clicking the arrow.

Option 3

Enter the Messaging workspace from the selected application's workspace. 

  1. Navigate to the application. 
  2. Click the Show messages hyperlink.
  3. The Messaging workspace opens. The Public workspace is selected by default. Switch to the Direct message workspace by clicking Direct.
  4. Type the message into the text field and send it over by clicking the arrow.
