How to invite and add parties to the application

This tutorial shows how to invite and add parties to the application

In the application workspace, go to the "Required tasks" progress bar.
It shows the required tasks to be filled out before proceeding.

Depending on the type of application you are applying for, different parties may be required to participate.
The progress bar shows the required parties for your application.

You can add roles to your application in two ways:
Option 1: Inviting a party via email.
Option 2: Adding a party manually.

Option 2 applies if a party does not have an active email address or wants to be involved in the application digitally.

Option 1: Inviting a party via email.

Go to the "Parties to the application" section and click "Add or invite party+."
Input the party's email address into the text field.

Define the role(s) for the party.

Note that one party may have numerous roles.
For example, a party may act as an Applicant, Payer, and Builder, while another party may only be a Property Owner.

Select a role(s) for the party from the drop-down menu.
Check off any additional permission(s) you may want to grant to your party.
  • Modify application - A user may do edits and sign off the application.
  • View all applicable phases, like Pre-consultation, Work, Construction, and Archival.
  • Add new applications to the project.

Write a message to your invitee if needed (optional).

Click "Send invite."

An email notification will be sent out to the invitee.

The invitation is pending in the "Parties to the application" section until the invitee accepts it.

Once the party agrees with the invitation, the pending status on the invitee's card will change to "Approved."

Option 2: Adding a party manually.

Go to the "Parties to the application" section.

Click "Add or invite party+."

Check off the box "Input details manually and add the party immediately."
Fill out the party's information.

Select a role from the drop-down menu.

Note that one party may have numerous roles, and selection is not limited.
For example, a party may act as a Builder and Applicant, while another party may only be a Property Owner.

Click "Add."
Success - A new party has been added to the application.
