How to request a partial occupancy

Municipal building authorities will decide which inspections are required for specific application types and preconfigure them for the application. Additionally, they may choose additional inspections for the project during permit issuance. One of them is partial occupancy. The Municipal Authority will enable the partial occupancy request functionality in the application before issuing the permit. The Applicant will request partial occupancy with a reason during the Work & Construction phase. The Authority will conduct a partial occupancy inspection on-site and decide if the request is approved. 

  1. The municipal building authorities will enable partial occupancy for your application. You will be notified about it via email. The email should look similar to the image below. Click Open application to enter the Work & Construction workspace.
  2. Scroll down to Occupancy and expand the section.

3. Click Apply for Partial Occupancy.

4. Fill out the required fields (*). Click Sign Off and Apply.

6. The partial occupancy request has been signed off and submitted to the municipal building department in Cloudpermit.
