Cloudpermit offers an interactive map feature that helps you find the correct location data for your property during the application creation process. The feature uses the municipality's Geographic Information System (GIS), which helps determine the correct locations and ensures your application has the exact location data. If the GIS is down for some unknown reason, Cloudpermit users can manually enter the location details, which the municipal department will verify and correct during the application review.
You can locate the property on the map using one of the following options:
- Option 1: Search with the property address.
- Option 2: Search with the roll number, PIN, or PID.
- Option 3: Click and drag on the map to locate the subject property.
Option 1 Search with the property address
- Start typing the property address into the search field. Cloudpermit provides you with a list of properties matching the typed address. The list has a property address with the roll number, PID, or PIN.
- Select the desired property address from the list and click "Next."
- You will see the property displayed on the map. The property details are shown on the right side of the map view.
Option 2 Search with the roll number, PIN, or PID
- Enter a property roll number, PIN, or PID. Cloudpermit returns a list of properties that match your digits. It should be noted that the database may contain thousands of matches. Using the right-hand sidebar, scroll up and down the list. When you've found the right property, click the address to select it from the list.
- You will see the property displayed on the map and its property details on the right.
Option 3 Click and drag on the map to locate the property
- Click and drag on the map. Zoom in and out using the + and - buttons on the top left of the map. Once you have found the desired property, click it on the map.
Cloudpermit pulls up relevant information regarding the property.
