How to Make Changes to Attachments via Change Request

When working on your application in Cloudpermit, you might encounter situations where additional reviews by a qualified reviewer lead to the need for changes in your application. Here's how to effectively address and respond to these change requests.

Notification of Change Request

  • Email Notification: If enabled, you'll receive an email alerting you to the change request. Click "Open application" to proceed. A screenshot of a computer

  • Dashboard Notification: A notification will also appear in the "Tasks and Requests" section of your dashboard.

    Accessing and Making Changes to the Form
  1. Enter the Application Workspace: Follow the link from your email or dashboard notification to access your application workspace.
  2. View the Change Request: The description of the change request is displayed prominently. For additional information or clarification, use the "Direct message" link to contact the reviewer directly.
  3. Completing the Form: After making the necessary changes, click "Changes Made" to lock the form and prevent further edits. A screenshot of a computer

  4. Confirm Your Changes: Navigate back to the workspace and confirm your changes by clicking "Back to Workspace." A screenshot of a computer

Completion of Review

Review Process: The application status will change to "In Review." If approved, the process moves forward. If further changes are needed, a new change request will be issued, reverting the application status to "Changes Required."

When your application requires further review, such as architectural or zoning plan reviews, you might receive a change request from a qualified reviewer to add new attachment types to your application. Here's how to navigate this process:

Receiving and Accessing Change Requests

  1. Notification: You'll be alerted to change requests via email (if notifications are enabled) and in the "Tasks and Requests" section of your dashboard.
  2. Accessing the Request: Click the arrow at the end of the change request row in "Tasks and Requests" to view the request in your application workspace.

Understanding and Acting on the Request

  1. Review Request Details: Under "Review Result," you'll find the description of the change request. If you have questions, click "Direct message" to communicate with the reviewer.

  2. Locating Required Attachments: Scroll to the "Attachments" section, where a red icon indicates action is needed. The "Required attachments" section lists the new types of attachments you need to upload.

  3. Uploading: Click "click here" or drag the file to the drag-and-drop zone to upload the required attachment type.
    Confirmation: A green line next to the attachment type indicates successful upload. Expand the section to view the uploaded document.

Finalizing Your Submission

  1. Mark as Done: After uploading the necessary attachments, click "Mark as Done" to submit the changes for review.
