Prior to Permit Issuance (Application Phase)
All parties can be removed and their access to the workspace is automatically revoked.
Note:
- No email is sent notifying them that they have been removed even though they had accepted the invitation.
- If added back in, another invitation is sent out and must be accepted to regain access to the workspace.
Post Issuance (Work and Construction Phase)
All parties can be removed and most roles can have their access to the workspace revoked.
All parties are listed on the Permit:
Parties can be removed using the same method above, but have a checkbox giving the option to remove access to the workspace:
The option to remove access is at the authority user’s discretion.
Even if the access is NOT removed, the party can only access Application phase workspace details in a read-only view.
When removing an Applicant, Property Owner, or Agent, there is no option to remove their access to the workspace. They are primary parties that are considered sign-off roles and access cannot be removed entirely. They do not get a email saying that they have been removed since their access is not being revoked.
If access needs to be removed entirely, the recommendation is to transfer or revoke the permit.
The removed party receives an email stating that their access has been removed:
The party is listed as Removed, but the party tile remains on the workspace:
Note: When copying as a new workspace the removed parties can be checked that they are to be brought over, but do NOT actually copy over to the new workspace.
