When the organization has a Cloudpermit integration with Laserfiche, the municipal users can send the workspace content package into a specific folder in Laserfiche for retention.
Sending a Cloudpermit content package into Laserfiche
- When the status of the workspace changes to Issued, Active or Approved the user will have the option to select the Send to Laserfiche button under the Application tab (image 1)
- When the user selects Send to Laserfiche, a new folder is created and the content package is moved into the folder
- Cloudpermit displays a direct link to Laserfiche folder in the workspace properties. (Hint: If you don't see the link, select Show full data next to the map and permit links.
Notes:
- Name of the folder is the permit number in screenshot below
- Cloudpermit sets the configured metadata fields in the newly created folder to make searching more efficient in Laserfiche
- Users can move the folder in Laserfiche, as long as the Entry ID for the folder remains the same
- If an application is re-issued, user can select Send to Laserfiche again. The new content package is added into the folder.

Sending a full workspace package into Laserfiche
- After the application issuance, the workspace provides an option to send the full archival package into Laserfiche (Image 3)
- When user selects to create the package, Cloudpermit creates a new folder structure in the existing Laserfiche folder
Notes:
- Cloudpermit prompts the user to send the package to Laserfiche when the workspace is moved to Finished status
- User can send the package to Laserfiche as many times as they wish

Finishing a workspace and sending a full workspace package into Laserfiche
- When workspace status is changed to Finished, Cloudpermit prompts the users to send the data into Laserfiche (image 4)
Notes:
- Before sending the data and files, Cloudpermit changes the status so that the chain of events in archival package is complete
