Cloudpermit has an integration with DigEplan, a plans review tool, that can be used for reviewing and marking up the documents. This article describes the workflow when there is a need to review a single document under an Attachments section in a Cloudpermit workspace.
Prerequisites:
- The municipality has a subscription with Cloudpermit and DigEplan
- The integration has been enabled by Cloudpermit
- The user has accounts both DigEplan and Cloudpermit
Starting the mark-up
- Select the document that you wish to review/mark-up under Attachments section
- Select Mark up in DigEplan. The status of the attachment changes to In mark-up
- DigEplan opens in a new browser window. Log in to DigEplan if requested
Using DigEplan for reviews
- Select the document to review
- Do the mark-up and stamping
- Select Create accepted report or Create Changes requested report under Processes action in DigEplan
- Close DigEplan and move to Cloudpermit browser tab
Ending review in Cloudpermit
- See a new mark-up version that has been uploaded into Cloudpermit when the report was created in DigEplan
- Select End mark-up in DigEplan to remove the attachment locking
- Status of the attachment in changed to New version. If the status of the Cloudpermit workspace is In review, you can change the status of the attachment to Changes requested (Attachment Changes requested option) or Approved (Attachment approved option) to communicate the status to the applicants.
