How to reset your password

This tutorial outlines how to reset a password in your Cloudpermit account.

On your login page, click "Forgot your password?"

Type in your email address associated with your account.
Click "Continue" to receive an email containing a link to reset this account's password.
Check your email inbox. The reset email message should look like in the image beside.

Click "Reset password." You will next see the reset password view, like in the image below.

If the button does not work, copy the provided link to your browser.

The recovery link is only valid for 24 hours after being sent to your email inbox. If you don't use the link within 24 hours, the password recovery process must be recompleted from step one.

In the Cloudpermit password reset view, enter a new password for your Cloudpermit account.

Note that Cloudpermit only accepts moderate and strong passwords. Do not use any parts of your name or surname in the password.

Click "Reset and login."
You have now updated your Cloudpermit password.
