By-Law Enforcement Description

By-Law Enforcement is the prevention, detection, and enforcement of violations of statutes or ordinances regulating public health, safety, public works, and building standards.

The Cloudpermit By-Law Enforcement product is designed for local government authorities to manage citizens' complaints, inspections, and by-law enforcement cases to track and ensure the violations are duly resolved.

The By-Law Enforcement product is accessible on any device with an internet connection and a commonly supported browser.

After signing in to Cloudpermit, the By-Law Enforcement is accessible via a link from the By-law enforcement section. The same section includes a link to a new case creation.

The Complaint and new cases workspace allow by-law enforcement officers to handle all complaints, create cases for valid one, and abandon invalid ones. All abandoned complaints remain in the database and can be reopened later if needed.

By-law enforcement officers can search and filter complaints, and view properties on the map. The list view under Results is handy to see more details about the complaint. The complaint card allows you to open the complaint, edit it, reply to the complainant, and create a case for it.
