How to search for properties in the Complaints and new cases view

The Complaints and new case view manage the citizen complaints in Cloudpermit. This tutorial shows how to search for properties in this view. 

You can search for your properties in three ways:

  1. Using the property address
  2. Using the property roll number/PID/PIN
  3. Clicking and dragging on the map

Using the property address

Start typing your property address in the text field. Cloudpermit populates you with a list of the best matches. Click on the desired address under "Addresses."

The selected property appears as a pin on the map. If the property has complaints, they appear under "Results." A new complaint form automatically opens on the right.

Using the roll number/PID/PIN

Start typing the number in the text field. Cloudpermit populates you with a list of the best matches. Click on the desired property under "Addresses."

The selected property appears as a pin on the map. If the property has complaints, they appear under "Results." A new complaint form opens automatically on the right.

Click and drag on the map

Click and drag on the map to find your property. Zoom in and out on the map using the toolbar icons on the left. After finding your property, you will automatically receive a new complaint form on the right.

After finding your property, you can start creating a complaint by filling out the complaint form and submitting it.
