How to set the application to the Occupied and then to Finished steps

The application is in the Work & Construction phase. All inspections are conducted and passed. The authority has granted the project an occupancy permit. First, the Authority will set the application to Occupied. Because the project is completed, the authority will set the application to the Finished step. Before that required inspections must be passed.

This section will teach you how to set the application to the Occupied and Finished steps.

  1. In the Work & Construction workspace, scroll to Occupancy.
  2. All granted occupancy permits are saved in this section.
  3. Scroll up to the application's workspace header.
  4. Click Set as Occupied.
  5. Click Yes.
  6. The application is set to the Occupied step.
  7. Go to Inspections.
  8. Check that all required inspections are passed. If any of them is failed, the application stays in the Occupied step until the Applicant has corrected the deficiencies and requests a new visit (inspection) to the construction site.
  9. Scroll up to the application's workspace header.
  10. Click Set as Finished.
  11. Click Yes.
  12. The project is completed and the application step is set to the Finished step.
  13. You can return the application to the Construction started step if needed.
