How to transfer your permit to a new owner

This tutorial shows how to transfer your permit to a new property owner after starting the construction.

Go to "More Actions" in your application workspace and select "Transfer of Permit" from the drop-down menu list.
A confirmation pops up. Click "Yes."
You now have a draft supplemental building permit application to be filled out.

Go to the "Transfer of permit" section and expand it.
The "Transfer of Permit Approval" request contains parties on an application or a permit that will be either transferred to the new applicant or a new owner or removed from the application.

Click the "arrow" to enter the approval request form.


 
In the "Transfer of Permit Approval request," you must decide whether you grant a new applicant's permission or if you will remain on the original application.

Check off the box "Yes" if you remove a party from the application.

Check off the box "No, this party will remain on the original application" if you stay in the application.

Click "Sign off."
Success - You have now signed off the Transfer of Permit Approval request.

Click "Return to application."
Now, you must submit the application.

Click "Submit application."
Success - The Transfer of Permit application has been submitted.
