Planning|How to edit planning approval category descriptions

This tutorial outlines how a local government administrator can edit planning approval category descriptions in the Configuration settings. The description category descriptions are visible in the Create a New Application wizard.

Go to the User Menu. Open it.
Select the option Configuration from the list.
You are entering the Application Configuration view.
Go to the Planning Approval section. There is a list of categories available.

Scroll down the category list until you find the approval category you want to edit.
Click on the down-facing arrow on the selected approval category to expand it.

In the example, Rezoning has been selected.
Go to the Category Description.

Type the desired category description in the text field.
  • You can include a URL in the description to direct applicants to a municipal website.
  • You can format the text using the text format tools located at the top of the text field. 

After done, click Save.

Continue the same way with all category descriptions you want to edit.
