How to reassign a review request

After the applicant has submitted the application in Cloudpermit, the review process begins. The municipal authority set the application to In Review step. Sometimes, a local government authority may need an expert assessment from a specific building and zoning professional for the building permit application, its works, and target. Such review types include architectural, zoning, and general application reviews. The municipal authority may reassign requests to other persons and organizations. The municipal authority has pre-configured the selection of available reviewers in Cloudpermit. 

In this section, you will learn how to reassign a review request.

  1. In the Application workspace, scroll down to Reviews.
  2. Select the review you wish to reassign and click Reassign Review.
  3. Select the Reviewer from the drop-down menu.
  4. The request is reassigned to the selected Reviewer. The Reviewer will receive an email notification regarding the request. Note that the Reviewer appears on the list only If the local government has granted permission to act as a reviewer. Contact your local government authority for more guidance if you cannot find the appropriate Reviewer in the list selection.
