How to request changes to the approval application during the initial review

This tutorial outlines how to request changes to the approval application during the initial review before deeming it complete. The "change request" functionality is in the "sign-off form." The change request will return the application to the "Draft" status. Thus, Applicants must provide all required changes, sign off, and resubmit the application, which will also reset the time of submission in the application workspace.

The approval application is in the "Submitted" status.




Click "Need changes."
The required changes will cancel the sign-off and return the approval application to the "Draft" status.

Go to the "More actions" and select "Go to sign off view" from the drop-down menu.
The Applicant must sign off and resubmit the approval application after providing the required changes to the application.

Type in a short note about the required changes to the application.

Click "Yes."
The application's status has changed to "Draft."

The Applicant receives an email notification about the change request.
