How to create an inspection request for a customer

Cloudpermit provides authorities the ability to manage inspections. The Inspections section in the Dashboard contains a link to the Dispatching view, where an authority with dispatching permissions can monitor and schedule applicants' inspection requests to available Inspectors. The Dispatcher can also create an inspection request for the customer. 

In this section, you will learn how to create an inspection request for a customer in the Dispatching view. 

  1. In the Dispatching view, navigate to the Inspection request queue.
  2. Click Add New Request+.
     
  3. Type in the property address.
  4. Cloudpermit populates you with a list of matching property addresses.
  5. Select the desired address from the list.
  6.  You must create a new workspace if the application does not exist in Cloudpermit. See instructions in the article How to create an inspection request of an application outside of Cloudpermit.
  7. Select Inspection type from the Choose inspection drop-down menu.
  8. Select the Requested date from the Calendar.
  9. Select the requested timeslot from the drop-down menu.
  10. Click Create Inspection Request.
  11. The inspection request is made for the customer.
