How to create an inspection for an application outside of Cloudpermit

This tutorial outlines how dispatchers can create an inspection request for applications outside of Cloudpermit.

Step 1:

In the Inspection Request queue, click the Add New Request button.

Search the application by typing its address or permit number into the text field.
Cloudpermit will list all matching applications that exist on the database.
Step 2:

Once the search returns no applications, click the Create New Workspace button.
Select a municipality from the drop-down menu list.

Enter the subject property´s address into the text field. Cloupermit returns a list of matching properties from the integrated GIS mapping.

Next, click on the Create New Workspace button.

A new workspace has been created.

To create a new inspection, click Create Inspection.
Select Inspection Type from the drop-down menu.

Click Create Inspection.
Select the date and the appropriate time slot for the inspection from the calendar.

Type any additional information or instructions regarding the inspection into the text field (optional).

Click Create Inspection Request.
Success - The new scheduled inspection request appears at the bottom of the request queue and is ready for dispatch.
Note that you have now created an inspection request for an application outside of Cloudpermit.

Additionally, it has created a workspace on Cloudpermit. Therefore, any additional inspections for the respective application can now be requested, managed, and completed on Cloudpermit.
