What can you do in the "Dispatching"view?

The "Dispatching" is the view where local government authorities can dispatch inspections to inspectors.

In your "My dashboard," go to the "Inspections" section and click "Dispatching."

The "Dispatch inspections" view includes:
  • A drop-down menu from which you can select the municipality.
  • A calendar from which you can choose the date and the inspections planned for the date.
  • The "inspections request queue" shows all inspections in the queue. You can switch between "Requested" and "Canceled" inspection requests.
  • "Available inspectors" lists the inspectors to which you can dispatch inspections.

Click "Show map" on the right.
You can search the properties on the map.
To hide the map view, click "Hide map."

Drag-and-drop the request onto an available inspector by clicking the inspection request from the inspection request queue.

Drag the request onto an available inspector and drop it either in the 8:00 a.m-12:00 p.m or 12:00 p.m-4:00 p.m time slots.

Although an inspection request can be made for either of the two slots, dispatchers can confirm the request for either time slot.

Click "Options" on the inspection card.

If you want to send an email to the inspector, click "Send an email."

If you want to duplicate the inspection request, for example, to two inspectors, click "Duplicate."
Click "Notes" if you want to send an internal note to the inspector.

Cloudpermit saves your changes automatically in the form.
If you must verify the inspectors' qualification(s), go to the "inspector's name" row and click the "arrow" to open the drop-down menu.

You will have the list of the inspector's qualifications.
