Cloudpermit provides municipal building authorities the ability to manage inspections. A municipal authority with dispatching permissions can monitor and schedule applicants' inspection requests and dispatch them to available Inspectors.
The Inspection section is in the user Dashboard. If the municipal athority has permission to dispatch inspections, the section contains a link to Dispatching.
The Dispatching view contains a drop-down menu from which you can select the municipality which inspections you wish to monitor. The Calendar allows you to choose the date to monitor inspections planned for the selected date.
The Inspections request queue shows all inspection requests in the queue. You can switch between Requested and Canceled inspection requests. The Available inspectors show the Inspectors who are available to conduct inspections.
Drag-and-drop the request onto an available inspector by clicking the inspection request from the inspection request queue.
Drag the request onto an available inspector and drop it off either in the 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. or 12:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. time slots.
Click Options on the inspection card. If you want to send an email to the Inspector, click Send an Email. If you're going to duplicate one inspection request, for example, to two Inspectors, click Duplicate.
